Electrical Estimator

• Conduct detailed project cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop accurate project budgets and timelines.
• Utilize EBM and Blue Beam software to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
• Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing any deviations from the budget.
• Provide timely and accurate estimates for new projects and change orders.

Competencies:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role.
• Proficiency in EBM (Estimating and Budgeting Management) software is required.
• Knowledge with Blue Beam software is required.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices and materials.

Equipment Requirements:

• Computer/Laptop: Intel Core i7 (10th Gen or higher) with 32GB RAM for optimal performance. Mac Equivalent: MacBook Pro (M1 Pro, M2 Pro, or higher) or Mac Studio (M1 Max, M2 Max, or higher) with 32GB Unified Memory.
• Dual Monitors (Preferred): Improves multitasking and efficiency when reviewing project plans.
• High-Speed Internet: Ensures seamless cloud-based collaboration and software operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
